Spicy Tomato Sauce

Spicy Tomato Sauce:

Heat: 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat in sauce pan.

Add:  1 diced jalapeno, 1 chopped onion and 3- 4 cloves garlic diced

Cook:  until soft and light golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.

Add: 1 28 ounce cane of crushed tomatoes and juice and bring to a boil, stirring often.

Simmer: for 30 minutes until as thick. Season with salt and serve,

Add: chopped basil, as garnish to pasta and sauce

Serve: Cooked gluten free pasta should be added to saucepan with sauce. Garnish with basil leaves and dairy free cheese, if using.
