Kale, Collards, Nuts and Seeds…

All of my favorite ingredients.  Sometimes I dream about being rolled in honey and lots of seeds…. ok ok a little crazy sounding but I love adding nuts, seeds and honey to just about everything from smoothies, to breakfast, to bananas.

 

Try steaming kale, collards, and any other thick leafy greens that you have, garlic scapes, add some walnuts and lots of seeds any seeds.  (Hemp, Sesame, Flax, Poppy, etc….

If you like a little sweetness try dried cranberries, cherries or currants…or all!

If you eat meat, top with a grass fed beef or sauteed chicken, or even a fried egg for breakfast.  Top with a sprinkle of grated ginger for a kick.
