Banana Almond Butter Wrap
One of my new favorite breakfast items is a Banana Almond Butter Wrap. This hits the spot in SO many ways for me and is so easy to make. Almond butter, honey or agave syrup are staple items I always have in stock at my house. I usually have a banana laying around and some form of greens! Swiss Chard I have found works best for the wrap, it has a slightly sweet and light taste, with extremely soft and tender leafs.
Ingredients:
- 1 large leaf of swiss chard (de-stemmed)
- drizzle of honey or agave syrup
- 1 banana
- 2 Tbsp Almond Butter (peanut butter or cashew butter would work too)
Directions:
- De stem swiss chard
- Spread nut butter onto swisschard
- Drizzle with honey or agave
- Wrap banana into swisschard (like a burrito)
- Cut in half
- Enjoy!!!
Banana wrap’s also make a wonderful light lunch with a side of quinoa porridge!
